Visiting the Taj Mahal during the monsoon season, which typically occurs from June to September, can present some challenges due to the heavy rainfall and associated weather conditions. Here are the primary challenges you might face:
Rainfall and Flooding: The most significant challenge during the monsoon season is the heavy and frequent rainfall. Agra and the Taj Mahal area can experience substantial downpours, which can lead to localized flooding and waterlogging. Navigating the Taj Mahal premises and other parts of Agra can become difficult and messy, affecting the overall experience.
Reduced Visibility: The monsoon season is characterized by overcast skies and reduced visibility due to cloud cover. The Taj Mahal might not be as brilliantly visible as it would be during the best time to visit. Fog and haze can obscure the monument, making it challenging to capture clear and vibrant photographs.
High Humidity: The monsoon season is associated with high humidity levels, which can lead to discomfort while exploring outdoor attractions. The combination of rain, humidity, and heat can be taxing on visitors, making the experience less enjoyable.
Risk of Disease: The monsoon season also brings with it an increased risk of waterborne diseases, such as dengue and malaria. Stagnant water from the rain can become breeding grounds for disease-carrying mosquitoes. Visitors need to take precautions and be aware of health risks during this time.
Limited Outdoor Activities: Beyond the Taj Mahal, other outdoor attractions and activities in Agra might be limited or disrupted due to the rain. This can impact your ability to explore the city fully.
Given these challenges, it’s generally advisable to avoid visiting the Taj Mahal during the monsoon season. The best time to visit the Taj Mahal is during the cooler and drier months from October to March when the weather is more favorable for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Weekdays Are Better: Weekdays, especially Tuesday to Friday, are generally less crowded than weekends. If your schedule allows, plan your visit during these days for a more peaceful experience.
Avoid Peak Hours: The late morning and early afternoon are when the crowds tend to peak. Consider visiting in the late afternoon or early evening to enjoy the Taj Mahal with fewer visitors.
Book Tickets Online: To save time and avoid long lines at the ticket counters, purchase your entry tickets online in advance. This can help you skip the queue and get inside faster.
Engage a Local Guide: Consider hiring a local guide. They can provide historical context, help you navigate the site efficiently, and may know the best times to visit specific areas within the complex.

We had a good time with our guide Ashok At first, the driver Sunil arrived on time in front of our hotel. We took the road to Agra, the driver is very kind and careful. He is also very calm and respects our sleep because we took the road at 5am. Then we are present at the agency Taj Mahal Cabs in Agra, where the guide Ashok was presented to us. The visit of the Taj Mahal went very well. We have explanations on the history of the Taj Mahal. The guide was very understanding with us talking He took the time to take pictures in the different places visited. He also leaves us plenty of free time to take pictures and visit the parts we wanted to see alone. We recommend this tour company.

Excellent tour overall. Best parts included the early entrance to the taj as we were able to explore when not too busy or too hot. Baby taj was excellent as well. It was really good to have the option and flexibility of where to visit in Agra but may be useful to have all of the options on the booking page so that people can decide which of the other attractions to visit prior to coming on the tour. Overall I give the tour 5 stars from 5 and would be happy to recommend it.

It’s really very good service cab’s company, I have gotten very good service from them in our Agra & Delhi trip, specially there commitment & driver behaviour was very nice. If they are continuing their services like this type of customer friendly then they will get lots of clients. All the best for this company.

We completed our trip in july 2018. Taj Mahal Cabs service is really good. Driver Sarvesh Kumar was on time to pick us up at Agra station. Then the journey started for Taj, Agra fort and fatehpur sikri. We felt safe while traveling. Cab was neat and clean. Ensure to hire a guide atleast for tajmahal and Agra fort. It's worthless without guide as you won't know history behind the beautiful tajmahal. I saw many tourist clueless without guide, they were just looking at different structures. For fatehpur sikri, I did not felt that worthwhile visiting there. Surely don't hire guide in fatehpur sikri. As all guides will make emotional pitch to donate highly priced quills there, which I did not like. Overall it was a good trip.
