Please note that the specific attractions and their order in the itinerary may vary depending on the tour operator and the duration of the half-day tour. It’s essential to check with the tour provider to get the most up-to-date and detailed information about the attractions included in your chosen tour.
The duration of a Delhi Half Day Tour can vary depending on the specific itinerary and the tour operator. However, in general, a half-day tour typically lasts between 4 to 6 hours. This allows you to cover a selection of key attractions and get a taste of the city’s culture and history in a relatively short amount of time.
As for the best time to start such a tour for the most enjoyable experience, here are a few considerations:
Morning Tours: Many half-day tours start in the morning, typically around 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM. This timing can be ideal, especially if you want to avoid the heat and crowds that can build up during the day. Morning tours are also a good choice if you want to visit religious sites when they are at their most active.
Late Afternoon Tours: Some tours begin in the late afternoon, usually around 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This timing can be advantageous because the weather is often milder, and you may experience fewer crowds. It’s a good option if you prefer a more leisurely pace.
Consider the Season: Delhi experiences extreme weather conditions, with hot summers and cold winters. The best time to start your tour can vary depending on the season. In summer, mornings or late afternoons may be more comfortable. In winter, starting a bit later in the morning might be better.
Avoid Rush Hours: Delhi is known for its traffic congestion during rush hours, which are typically from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Starting your tour slightly before or after these times can help you avoid traffic jams.
Check Opening Hours: Make sure to check the opening hours of the attractions you plan to visit. Some sites may have specific visiting hours that can influence your tour’s timing.
Consult Your Tour Operator: Your chosen tour operator will likely have set departure times for their half-day tours. It’s a good idea to consult with them to determine the most suitable departure time based on your preferences and the attractions you wish to visit.
Ultimately, the best time for your Delhi Half Day Tour depends on your personal preferences, the specific attractions you want to see, and the tour operator’s schedule. Planning in advance and considering factors like weather and traffic can help you have the most enjoyable experience.

We had a good time with our guide Ashok At first, the driver Sunil arrived on time in front of our hotel. We took the road to Agra, the driver is very kind and careful. He is also very calm and respects our sleep because we took the road at 5am. Then we are present at the agency Taj Mahal Cabs in Agra, where the guide Ashok was presented to us. The visit of the Taj Mahal went very well. We have explanations on the history of the Taj Mahal. The guide was very understanding with us talking He took the time to take pictures in the different places visited. He also leaves us plenty of free time to take pictures and visit the parts we wanted to see alone. We recommend this tour company.

Excellent tour overall. Best parts included the early entrance to the taj as we were able to explore when not too busy or too hot. Baby taj was excellent as well. It was really good to have the option and flexibility of where to visit in Agra but may be useful to have all of the options on the booking page so that people can decide which of the other attractions to visit prior to coming on the tour. Overall I give the tour 5 stars from 5 and would be happy to recommend it.

We completed our trip in july 2018. Taj Mahal Cabs service is really good. Driver Sarvesh Kumar was on time to pick us up at Agra station. Then the journey started for Taj, Agra fort and fatehpur sikri. We felt safe while traveling. Cab was neat and clean. Ensure to hire a guide atleast for tajmahal and Agra fort. It's worthless without guide as you won't know history behind the beautiful tajmahal. I saw many tourist clueless without guide, they were just looking at different structures. For fatehpur sikri, I did not felt that worthwhile visiting there. Surely don't hire guide in fatehpur sikri. As all guides will make emotional pitch to donate highly priced quills there, which I did not like. Overall it was a good trip.
